Job Description
Bellin Health Systems is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Perioperative services in Green Bay, WI. The role involves working in Pre-op, PACU, and Short Stay areas, providing quality nursing care and collaborating with healthcare teams. Candidates should have an Associate Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and relevant certifications. The position offers full-time hours with on-call rotation, a sign-on bonus for new grads, and comprehensive benefits.

Eligible up to $10,000 Sign On Bonus NEW GRADS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Shift Hours: Full-Time (32 - 40 hours/week), PMs (variable start time between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday- Friday); 8 hours shift; on-call rotation every 8thweek (either 3 nights or 1 night with one weekend); 1 holiday per year Job Description: Periop consists of three areas-Pre-op, PACU, and Short Stay. In the Pre-op area, staff work closely with the Surgeon and Anesthesiologist to prep patients for surgery. The PACU or recovery is a critical care area where staff care for patients in the initial post-surgical phase. Phase II or Short Stay area, staff prepare patients for discharge.
Responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures. The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient. Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged. Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Wisconsin upon hire
• ACLS and PALS required upon hire or within six months of hire
• Completion of surgery nursing certification within one year of eligibility required
• Previous RN experience is preferred.
