The Judge Group is hiring a Registered Behavioral Technician for an Autistic Support Classroom in Village Green, PA. Position: Registered Behavioral Technician- DUPE with Security Clearance
Location: Village Green-Green Ridge
The Judge Group is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician or Behavior Technician for the school year! Position Overview: This role will provide essential support within an Autistic Support Classroom, working directly with a student to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting positive behaviors, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, and collaborating effectively with the educational team. Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM * 30-minute unpaid lunch break (on-site, may leave the building but must return on time) Key Responsibilities: * Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to the student, focusing on reducing verbal aggression and promoting positive behaviors.
• Collect and record accurate and detailed data on the student's behavior and progress during sessions.
• Adjust interventions as needed, under the guidance of the BCBA, based on the student's response and progress.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and the BCBA to ensure consistent implementation of the behavior plan across all settings.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for the student.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with the BCBA and other team members regarding the student's progress and any challenges encountered.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and uphold the highest ethical standards at all times.
Qualifications/Certifications: * Current RBT or BT certification.
• Act 34 (Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check).
• Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal Background Check; UEID code acceptable).
• Act 151 (Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Resume.
• *Act 168 (Employment History) will be required, but not as a condition of initial employment. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to remain patient, calm, and composed in challenging situations.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in data collection and record-keeping.
