Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC is seeking a Recruiting & Human Resources Intern in Bethesda, MD. This role involves supporting corporate recruiting efforts, assisting with HR projects, and gaining experience in talent acquisition. About the role: Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning, this is an exciting opportunity to be immersed within a corporate Human Resources environment and gain critical experience to help jumpstart your career in the HR & Talent Acquisition field. You’ll be tasked with everything from supporting corporate recruiting efforts to assisting with project execution and other HR initiatives as needed.
• *This internship will be based out of ECRE's headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.

What you’ll do:

Recruiting Support:
• Assist with the creation of job postings on various platforms.
• Manage interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
• Coordinate pre-hire requirements including background checks, reference checks, and employee file creation.
• Participate in new-hire welcome calls and hiring strategy sessions.
• Gain exposure to corporate talent acquisition procedures & full-cycle recruitment strategy.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.
Human Resources Support & Project Management:
• Support the HR team in preparing presentations for management, as well as assisting with Company newsletter preparation.
• Personnel file clean up, organization and maintenance.
• Assist with general HR projects and tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• The desire to set your sights on a career within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
• Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the capacity to work independently as well as in collaboration with others is required.
• Previous corporate internship experience preferred but not required.
