FTI Consulting, Inc. is hiring a Recruitment Associate in Sydney to support recruitment across various segments in Australia. The role involves sourcing, screening candidates, managing job postings, and coordinating recruitment events. Ideal for a junior recruiter, the position requires strong attention to detail and proactive sourcing skills. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and experience with applicant tracking systems. This is an on-site position located in Haymarket, New South Wales.
About the Role
We are seeking a Recruitment Associate to provide sourcing and recruitment support to multiple segments in the Australian business as a member of our Human Resources team. This is a unique opportunity for a sourcer or junior recruiter who is looking to take the next step in their career and assist this growing business in sourcing and recruiting for different skill sets across multiple industries, for both Graduate and Experienced Hires.
What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for providing recruitment assistance to members of the Human Resources team and hiring managers in the business. Proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box when sourcing top talent, you will work closely with the HR Advisor to continue to grow FTI Consulting.
Additionally, you will:
• Assist with sourcing and recruitment processes, working effectively with members of the HR team and Hiring Managers to meet hiring needs.
• Manage job postings and candidate data via Taleo
• Utilise direct sourcing methods to proactively identify and shortlist top talent for open vacancies (across multiple lines of business/disciplines/geographies) using LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek, Taleo and other talent engagement methods.
• Screen, shortlist and interview candidates across all business segments and provide feedback/recommendations to the HR team and Hiring Managers.
• Understand FTI Consulting’s business and culture in order to help candidates fully see our unique selling points and career opportunities.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of all HR aspects of the Internship/graduate recruitment campaigns
• Co-ordinate and attend events such as career fairs, assessment days and recruiting specific events.
• Maintain visibility of all open vacancies and opportunistic recruiting needs and provide regular reporting updates to senior leadership and global recruitment contacts.
• Track and report all recruiting activities in Taleo to ensure accurate metrics and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience in sourcing or as a junior recruiter, in professional services highly regarded
• Experience with Taleo or other applicant tracking systems/CRM tools
• Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint
• Ability to provide accurate, consistent, and efficient service under the pressure of competing deadlines
• Skilled in organising resources and establishing priorities
• Exceptional customer service focus with consistent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritising multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems
• Proficient in using LinkedIn, Boolean searches, referrals, talent communities and other methods for direct sourcing
• Knowledge of laws and regulations as applicable to the employment, recruitment, and placement of new hires
