About the Role:
MPC Kinetic is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Quality Team. Reporting to the Quality Manager the ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated with significant experience within the mining, water and coal seam gas sectors. Perform and report inspection and testing activities in accordance with the approved Inspection and Testing Documentation. Report results to area supervisor
Report on the performance of the Quality System to the Project Quality Manager to identify improvements
Witness welder qualification tests and other special process operator qualification tests as required
Undertake inspections and complete inspection checklists in accordance with the relevant Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for work being performed by the field staff
Perform surveillance inspections on subcontractors work and attend witness points and hold points that are specified on the ITP which need to be released by the Quality Control
Ensure that supervisors and site personnel are progressively signing off ITP's and check sheets during execution of the work
Ensure all relevant documentation is being progressively collected to verify inspection and testing has been completed, e.g. pneumatic/hydro test, calibration certificates, survey results, and Non-Destructive / Destructive Examination reports
Ensure that weld procedures are followed
Carry out investigations on possible non-conformances and present findings to the Construction and Management groups
Conducting Material inspections and ensure that approved processes are followed
Preparing the QA pack and Compilation of documentation for MDR and completion dossier

Skills and Experiences:
About You:
Construction Industry OH&S Certificate (White card)
Open Australian driver's license
Sound Understanding of Quality system
Ability to work 19/9 roster
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Databases

As the successful applicant, you will hold two to four years' experience in a similar role working in a Construction environment.
