Job Description
Green Key Resources is seeking a Project Architect for a prominent architecture firm in East Chicago, IN. The role involves leading architectural design from concept to completion, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a degree in Architecture, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency in design software. This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days in the office each week.
We are currently representing a prominent AIA-acclaimed architecture firm that is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join their Chicago team.
Position Overview: As a Project Architect, you'll help lead the architectural design and development of projects from concept to completion. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures that make a difference in local communities and beyond.

Responsibilities:
Design Development: Spearhead the creation and evolution of architectural designs, ensuring compliance with client requirements, building codes, and industry standards. Project Management: Oversee all phases of the architectural project, from initial concept design through construction documentation to final inspection. Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing innovative design solutions and maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle. Team Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws, building codes, and accessibility standards. Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design principles and practices to create energy-efficient and environmentally responsible buildings.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Experience: 4+ years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Licensure: Licensure required, RA designation is a significant plus Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software (Revit, Sketchup, InDesign, Procore, etc.), strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
