As a Process Engineer you will be instrumental in the development of novel Direct Air Capture "DAC" systems onsite in our development and production facility in Berkeley, California. You will partner with the Electrical and Manufacturing teams and use your innovative thought process and optimistic mindset to propel the conceptualization, design, prototyping and manufacturing of the DAC systems as we work together to mitigate the impacts of climate change. What You'll Do Here
Work on a variety of projects from start to finish Design, simulate and engineer novel process systems in the carbon capture spaceDesign and plan equipment layoutsEstimate capital and operating costsEvaluate process and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulationsPrepare PFDs and P&ID's, including control loopsPrepare line, valve and equipment sizingConduct detailed reviews of vendor drawings/documents for accuracyCommunicate and interface openly and frequently with other team membersYour Skills and Abilities Include
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or similar area of studyStrong problem-solving abilityAbility to review and verify peer calculationsExperience with CAD softwareExperience with process modeling software such as Aspen+Strong written/verbal communication skillsAircapture strives to create a safe, inclusive, equitable and diverse workplace.
