Job Description:
• The Lead Prepress Technician is responsible for preparing digital files for the printing process, ensuring they meet quality standards, and configuration for the printing equipment to achieve optimal results.
• This role involves using various software and hardware tools to ensure that designs are correctly formatted, colors are accurate, and images are sharp and clear
• File Preparation: Receive digital files from designers or clients and inspect them for potential issues, such as resolution, color accuracy, and font compatibility
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure the files are print-ready
• Image Editing: Use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to retouch and enhance images, adjust colors, and make other modifications as needed
• Imposition: Arrange and position pages on a printing sheet to optimize paper usage and ensure proper alignment when printed.

Qualifications
• Offset and Digital Print Shop experience a plus.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Familiarity with prepress software and hardware, such as imposition software and CTP systems. Fuji XMF and Press Wise knowledge a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate and work in a team environment.
