Job Description
Talent Partner Australia is seeking a Principal Environmental Planner for a fully remote role with a salary around $200K. The successful candidate will lead Environmental Approvals for SSD and EIS projects across various sectors. Responsibilities include project management, client interaction, and team leadership. Applicants should have relevant experience in Environmental Approvals and strong communication skills. The role offers autonomy, support, and a collaborative company culture.
Your new role
Joining an established environmental consulting business you will take the lead role in coordinating the delivery of Environmental Approvals managing SSD and EIS scale projects across a range of sectors including Transport / Infrastructure, Renewables, Waste, Manufacturing and more. You'll deliver significant, challenging projects and enjoy a welcoming smaller company environment that the team have chosen to join and enrich after all spending time with other much larger consultancies earlier in their careers.

What do you need to be successful?
To be considered for this outstanding opportunity you will possess:
• significant Environmental Approvals / EIS authoring and technical review experience working under the NSW planning framework
• strong client interface, project managment and people leadership skills
• experience leading approvals for SSD scale projects and REAP accreditation will be highly valued
• excellent communication and organisational skills
• relevant qualifications in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering / Planning etc
• high degree of self-motivation and the maturity to work independently
