VIVIID RENEWABLES PVT LTD is seeking a Power System Engineer in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role involves design and engineering for substations, renewable energy units, and power systems. Candidates should have 15-20 years of experience in electrical engineering, team management, and technical skills. Responsibilities include detailed design, equipment specification, and procurement support. A graduate/postgraduate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required.

Past Experience : Manager/ Senior Manager in design and detailed Engineering

Team Management : Experience in Handling the Engineers with the team size of 15-20 people

Head – Design & Detailed Engineering

Expert – Substations (GIS/AIS- with Automation)

Expert – Power system Design in Power plant

Skills in Conceptual Engineering to Commissioning

Knowledge in Power System Studies

Tender/Procurement Support

Business Development Support

BASE DESIGN

Site key plan & Site coordinates drawings

Preparation of SLD – Base design submissions

Preparation of Layouts – Base design submissions

Major equipment Sizing /Specification – Detailed Knowledge on Specifications

Design of PCN for 33 KV Line

EHV Line routing and design review

Detailed Design

Preparation of Detailed SLD with Supplier inputs

Preparation of Protection SLD

Coordination with Suppliers/OEM for optimal size of Equipment & Validation of Inputs

Collection of Inputs from OEM for preparation of Layouts (GA/Clearance/Reactions/Foundations etc.,)

Various Layouts for electrical equipment Viz., Transformer, Reactors, Capacitors , GIS, MV SWGR, NGR,

Aux. transformers, LV SWGR, Control Room, Auxiliary rooms,

Preparation of Load list -load bank wise including emergency run equipment

Design & development of Load banks/ Distribution boards -MV & LV including power distribution during emergency

Technical support for Procurement and Customer Contracts Dept. for placing POs for various equipment

Techno -commercial discussion with Sub suppliers

Preparation of BOM major equipment and cables

Preparation of BOM for various accessories viz., Cable supports, Terminations, Lightings, Battery &

Charger etc.,

Design Calculations for CTs and PTs

Design Calculation – Short Circuit Force / PI Cantilever / Conductor sizing

Design calculations for earthing & Lightning

Design calculations for cable sizing & Voltage drop

Design Calculations for MV Power Cable Ampacity

Power factor correction and Design Calculations for Capacitor Banks & associated equipment

Battery & charger sizing calculations

Illumination design & Layouts

MV and LV distribution design and SLDs for various Switchboards

Design & Interfacing of SCADA / SAS

Control Cable selection methodology

Preparation of Earthing/Grounding detailed layout in line with calculations

Design / Calculations / Drawings – For Bonding system – MV& HV Cables

Preparation of Protection schemes / review of protection schemes submitted by suppliers

Preparation of Lightning protection layouts

Preparation of Relay lists for various protection and design inputs

Internal Coordination -Input drawings for Civil viz., Wall / Floor openings

Inputs to Structural Designs for Equipment in AIS / GIB – Structures

Coordination with detailed design team if employed as per the direction of ultimate client

Interface details for Power Transformers, Cable boxes, Link boxes, NGR/NER, Grounding, Neutral

connections, Control Cables etc.,

Preparation of Cable Tray/ladder/support layout

Design & Preparation of Cable trench Layout

Preparation of UG cable ducting / Pull pits

Coordination with Mechanical system and taking care of load list in electrical system

Preparation of cable schedule

Preparation of Termination / Interconnection schedule

Support for cable drum allocation to site team

BOM for Site installation Sub contracts

BOM for Site acceptance & Pre-commissioning testing team subcontracting

Close follow up with site team during execution for any design change

Knowledge on Power system

Power System Study viz., Load flow analysis/ Short circuit study

Protective Relay coordination

Insulation Coordination Study -Coordination in Equipment Data sheets / Specifications

Coordination with Other Studies specific to Project requirement

Knowledge of ETAP, MATLAB and PSCAD software
