Power Plant Mechanic

Amentum is hiring a Power Plant Mechanic in Singapore responsible for maintaining power generation systems. This Power Plant Mechanic position with Amentum in Singapore plays a critical role in maintaining reliable power generation infrastructure. You will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of primary generators, remote site units, and emergency backup systems.

Your daily work involves performing on-site repairs, responding to power outages and equipment failures, and scheduling diesel engine operations to maintain optimal run-time balance. You will also carry a radio or pager for after-hours call-outs, ensuring round-the-clock operational readiness.

You will coordinate closely with the Utilities Supervisor to order repair parts, tools, and consumables, while maintaining strict control over plant inventory and documentation. The role requires training Power Plant Operators on mechanical equipment and covering operator shifts as needed.
