A top Asset Manager is looking for an experienced operations professional to join their team as a Portfolio Administrator in NYC. This is not a Portfolio Manager opportunity.
Trade Processing and Reconciliation:
• Manage and oversee the settlement of transactions across multiple asset classes in international markets.
• Perform daily reconciliation of trading activity to ensure consistency across internal records, external partners, and financial institutions.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to trade settlements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Ensure all settlements are completed within required timeframes across different regions.
Operational Functions:
• Oversee cash flow processes, ensuring accurate funding and transaction recording.
• Facilitate the onboarding of financial institutions and counterparties to support seamless operations.
• Reconcile positions and transactions to maintain accurate portfolio records.
• Work closely with regulatory and compliance teams to align operational procedures with industry standards.
Process Optimization:
• Identify areas for operational efficiency and contribute to process improvements.
• Update and refine procedures to align with evolving best practices and regulations.
• Assist in the implementation and evaluation of new operational tools and systems.
Reporting and Coordination:
• Generate and distribute reports on trade settlements, cash movements, and reconciliation outcomes.
• Serve as a point of contact between investment teams, trading desks, and external partners to resolve operational matters.
• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and insights.
