Job Description

Trenton Agri Products is hiring a Plant Operator for their ethanol production facility in Trenton, NE. The role involves operating and monitoring equipment, conducting inspections, and ensuring safety and efficiency in the production process. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to safety. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits, requiring in-person work.

As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of ethanol, a renewable biofuel that offers a multitude of environmental benefits. Ethanol is derived from sustainable sources such as corn and other biomass, making it a viable alternative to fossil fuels. Responsibilities
Operate and monitor equipment and processes in the ethanol production plant, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment performance and prevent breakdowns, reducing downtime and maximizing productivity.


Monitor and control the production process, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain optimal ethanol quality and yield.


Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during operations.


Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the plant.


Maintain accurate records of production data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, actively seeking opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.


Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or process operations environment is preferred but not required. We are also open to training motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our mission.


Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and operate complex machinery.


Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.


Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities.


Demonstrated commitment to safety, both personal and environmental.


Team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.


Willing to work a rotating shift of days, nights, and weekends.
