Job Description

Manage overall plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control functions.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations across the plant.
Monitor production schedules and coordinate with various teams to meet deadlines.
Analyse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence.
Collaborate with senior management to align plant activities with organisational goals.
Maintain inventory control and oversee procurement of necessary materials and equipment.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Head Plant Operation should have:



A degree in engineering or a related field, preferably in mechanical or industrial disciplines.
Minimum 12 years of experience in industrial manufacturing plant operations.
Proven expertise in plant operations within the paper/packaging industry or a similar manufacturing setup.
Strong understanding of thermoforming, pulping, refining, molding, trimming, and sterilization processes.
Strong understanding of production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Proficiency in operational planning and performance analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
