As a key member of our team, the EHS Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and facilities. This position will be based at either our Conover, NC or Aurora, IL plant, with up to 40% travel to support both locations.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to safeguard employees and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations, identify root causes, and establish corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to EHS performance, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and hazardous waste management.
• Oversee the storage, disposal, and labeling of hazardous materials, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and evaluate new materials for safe use in our facilities.
• Perform regular auditing to monitor progress toward EHS improvement goals, leveraging data to inform corrective actions.
• Provide first aid guidance and support emergency response efforts as needed.

Requirements
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams, driving safety performance metrics through effective communication and strategic planning.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee issues and company processes.
• Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with experience in industry-specific software a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, PSM, and RMP regulations, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry developments.
