About the position

The Senior or Principal NOS Auditor position at Constellation involves providing leadership and technical expertise in conducting regulatory audits to identify potential issues and trends in nuclear power operations. The role requires collaboration with a team of auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to enhance the effectiveness of audit processes. The auditor will be responsible for preparing audit reports, analyzing performance trends, and communicating findings to management, thereby contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of nuclear operations.

Responsibilities
• Lead or participate in comprehensive audits of site organizations to ensure program adequacy and implementation effectiveness.

• Perform site audits and communicate results to maintain fleet regulatory compliance and performance.

• Conduct audit preparation including development of required templates, briefings, and writing final reports.
,
• Provide direction to team members to ensure effective communication of deficiencies encountered during oversight.
,
• Participate with a team of auditors that travel to multiple sites to complete audits.
,
• Provide written and verbal briefings to line management regarding the scope, status, and conclusions of audits.
,
• Analyze issues identified during audits to determine program quality and identify performance trends.
,
• Track and follow-up on significant issues identified during audits.
,
• Provide innovative input into improvements for the audit program.
,
• Assist in the development of audit team members.

Requirements
• BS degree in a technical field with a minimum of six years industry experience, or an Associates degree with a minimum of eight years industry experience.

• Demonstrated ability to interface with Senior Station and Corporate Management and clearly communicate issues.
,
• Audit Team Lead certification required within one year of assignment.
