Lucid Motors is hiring a Mobile Service Technician in Tampa, FL, responsible for field service repairs of luxury electric vehicles. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles at client locations, providing exceptional customer service, and managing parts and inventory. About the position

The Mobile Service Technician position is a unique role that involves field service repairs, where the technician will travel to client locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles. This position is essential in providing high-quality service and support to our customers, ensuring that their vehicles are operating at peak performance. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be equipped with a service van or truck and the necessary tools to perform your duties effectively. You will work independently while also having the support of the closest service location. This role requires a passion for sustainable transportation and the ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment. The technician will cover the Tampa area, including Sarasota, Lakeland, and Spring Hill, and will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a high knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general Electric Vehicle (EV) systems. In this position, you will function as a Service Advisor, performing parts department duties, managing inventory, and ensuring a high level of customer experience. You will document all customer vehicle interactions accurately and follow correct repair order documentation procedures. This role is crucial in maintaining the brand's reputation for quality and service excellence, and it offers an opportunity to work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry, contributing to a more sustainable future.

Responsibilities
• Function as a Service Advisor and perform parts department duties including ordering, returns, and inventory management
,
• Work directly with clients to provide a high level of customer experience
,
• Effectively work with the appropriate software suite to properly and completely document all customer vehicle interactions
,
• Maintain a high knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general Electric Vehicle (EV) systems
,
• Properly perform the walk-around and write-up processes, accurately ascertaining primary concern through verbal interview and visual assessment to assess client needs accurately
,
• Accurately document client concerns for diagnosis and repair
,
• Follow correct repair order documentation procedures, i.e. The Three C's Invoice and collect payment
,
• Perform customer service duties such as answer phones, scheduling appointments (where needed), and calling customers to update them on repair status, or to follow up after repairs are completed
,
• Review appointment schedule to plan travel time and visit duration for mobile services
,
• Provide support at Service Center based on demand
,
• Ability to travel in assigned territory and other service locations
,
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician
,
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
,
• Self-sufficient, highly organized and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
,
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrain
,
• Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills
,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
,
• EPA 609 Certification
,
• ASE Certifications
,
• Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
,
• Valid driver license with no suspensions within the past year

Nice-to-haves
• Previous Mobile Service Technician experience
,
• Previous experience with EV diagnosis and repair
,
• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments
