Join us as a Mid-Level Planner and bring thoughtful, sustainable development to fruition. You will support public-sector and government clients in creating community and land use plans, planning studies, and regulatory documents that direct growth and infrastructure investment.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, landscape architects, and fellow planners to deliver sound, community-focused solutions for municipal, county, and state agencies.

Your Responsibilities:
Conduct research and data analysis for planning projects at various governmental levels. Assist in the development of comprehensive plans, zoning and land use codes, redevelopment plans, and planning studies. Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team of planners, engineers, and landscape architects. Create maps, graphics, and layouts for planning documents and presentations. Facilitate public engagement through meetings, workshops, and stakeholder outreach. Support senior staff with technical analyses, report preparation, and client coordination. Attend meetings and events, including some off-hours public sessions. What You Bring:
A Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Geography/GIS, or a related field (preferred) or a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience. Experience with State and Local governments within the Northeast. Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Online for mapping and data analysis. Familiarity with urban design visualization tools like SketchUp. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and related software. Excellent communication skills, particularly in presenting planning concepts to the public. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, utilizing innovative digital tools. Pursuing AICP certification is preferred. Understanding of U.S. Census data and its relevance to planning. A passion for public-sector planning and collaboration with government clients. Salary and Benefits:
Salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000, dependent on experience and licensure.
