Mechanical Engineer - Hardware Design

REGENT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Hardware Design in North Kingstown, RI, to develop static and kinematic systems for their electric flying machine, the seaglider. The role involves the entire prototype development cycle from concept to testing. REGENT has significant backing and aims to transport commercial passengers by mid-decade. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirement.
REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.

Candidates should be experienced in the entire prototype development cycle from concept design and analysis through fabrication, integration and testing.
