Job Description

The VONG Movement is seeking a Marketing Intern in Andhra Pradesh, India, requiring an MBA or marketing qualification. Responsibilities include developing communication materials, leading social media initiatives, managing lead generation, supporting fundraising, and analyzing marketing performance. The internship lasts 6 months with a stipend based on performance. Marketing Interns for the VONG Movement

An MBA or a formal qualification in Marketing is a must for this internship.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop communication collateral for the NGO - its programs, initiatives, and achievements

2. Lead and Plan Social Media initiatives

3. Manage and support the lead management, design, content social media, and Product Marketing teams

4. Support fundraising and partnership initiatives

5. Brand Building

6. Internal stakeholder management

Background and interest in digital marketing, and content writing is significant for this role.

Lead Generation

Research and Identification:
• Identify potential partners, donors, sponsors, and collaborators aligned with VONG’s mission.
• Conduct in-depth research on individuals, organizations, and businesses with a sustainability focus.

Database Management:
• Create and maintain detailed databases of leads, categorizing them by priority and relevance.
• Update contact lists, ensuring data accuracy and quality.

Outreach Strategy:
• Develop and execute email campaigns, cold calls, and social media outreach to engage potential leads.
• Personalize outreach communications to build meaningful connections.

Collaboration:
• Work closely with the communications team to align lead-generation strategies with branding and marketing goals.
• Liaise with the program team to craft compelling pitches and presentations.

Marketing Analytics

Data Collection and Analysis:
• Track marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
• Analyze website traffic, email engagement, and social media metrics to gauge campaign effectiveness.

Reporting and Insights:
• Prepare weekly and monthly analytics reports, providing actionable insights to improve campaigns.
• Identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization.

A/B Testing:
• Run experiments on marketing strategies such as email subject lines, ad creatives, and content formats.
• Document results to refine and enhance future efforts.

Competitor Analysis:
• Monitor competitor activities in the sustainability space to identify opportunities and benchmark performance.

Content and Collaboration

Content Support:
• Collaborate with the content creation team to craft data-driven narratives and presentations.
• Share feedback based on audience response and engagement metrics.

Team Collaboration:
• Attend daily stand-ups or weekly meetings to update the team on progress.
• Share innovative ideas for improving lead generation and marketing outcomes.

Duration: 6 Months

Stipend:
• Rs. 5,000 per month for the first 2 months
• Rs 7,500 per month for months 3 and 4 months, subject to a performance rating of 4/5 and above
• Rs. 10,000 per month for months 5 and 6, subject to a performance rating of 4/5 and above
• The above stipend amounts are for a minimum of 30 hours per week of time investment
