Job Description
Randstad Australia is hiring a Lighting & Audio Technician for a venue in Golden Grove, SA. The role involves providing technical services for theatre shows and events, ensuring equipment maintenance, and delivering high-quality customer service. Candidates should have relevant qualifications or experience, including a Certificate III or Diploma in Live Production. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and after hours, offering competitive pay and community engagement.
Randstad is now recruiting for Theatre Technicians. This northeast based venue is a popular for all performances, functions and events.
You will provide technical and production services with a key focus on delivering high quality theatre shows, events and productions within the venues and adhoc external Council sites. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain solid relationships (with internal and external) stakeholders will be vital to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality technical and production services to the centre hirers, clients and internal customers including lighting, sound and audio-visual console operation.
• Ensuring that operation and maintenance of all technical and stage equipment is in accordance with the relevant industry standards and safe work practices.
• The application of high quality customer service with efficient and effective processes.
• Contributing to team planning in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support team members with venue hire and ticket sales.
Skills & Experience:
• Certificate III or Diploma in Live Production, Theatre and Events or demonstrated experience as a theatre technician (desirable) or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in Test and Tag electrical equipment.
• Yellow Card (Elevated work platforms).
• Willingness to obtain a Responding to Abuse and Neglect Certificate and a Working with Children Check.
• Willingness and availability to work across a seven day roster including weekends and after hours.
