The University of Hawaii System is seeking a part-time temporary Lecturer in Tropical Conservation Biology & Environmental Science for the 2026-2027 academic year. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed. Duties and Responsibilities * Conduct lectures and laboratories in graduate-level courses in Tropical Conservation Biology and Environmental Science Minimum Qualifications * Master's degree in Biology, Marine Science, Geography, or related field * Teaching and/or mentoring experience Desirable Qualifications * PhD in Geography, Biology, Marine Science, or related field * Teaching and/or mentoring experience at the graduate level * A minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience working with tropical conservation biology, environmental science, GIS, and/or applied remote sensing To Apply: Click on the "Apply" button on the top right corner of the screen to complete an application and attach all of the required documents.
