Lead Lighting Technician

Lovelight Solutions is hiring a Lead Lighting Technician in San Anselmo, CA, to oversee lighting efficiency retrofits and manage installation teams. Responsibilities include tracking job progress, managing materials, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should have a journeyman electrical qualification, 3+ years of relevant experience, and reliable transportation. The position is full-time with a pay range of $35-$55 per hour and includes health insurance benefits.

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Project Lead to help jobs get completed efficiently and to help create very happy customers.


Duties/Role:



Lead lighting tech performing lighting efficiency retrofits
Manage the installation team for safety, productivity, and wellness
Manage paperwork: track job progress and changes via the project paperwork with daily updates
Manage materials: identify and anticipate material and hardware needs well in advance of when they are needed. Track inventory received, installed, and leftover on each project. Maintain an orderly job site where materials are organized and sorted
Communicate daily with the operations director on job progress, changes needed, customer or employee concerns, etc.
Interface with customers to ensure a smooth installation and all-around satisfaction

Requirements:



Committed, dependable, and punctual
Excellent communication - proactive, positive, detailed, and thorough
Journeyman level or higher electrical qualification. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of electrical systems
3+ years commercial lighting efficiency retrofit experience, with a wide range of knowledge of and experience with various lighting fixtures & facility types. Experience managing project paperwork and leading a crew
Dependable transportation to and from job sites, equipped with electricians tools
Flexibility: occasional long work drives (mileage or co van provided), out of town jobs (lodging provided), night or weekend work. The majority of work time is regular business hours
Positive attitude, working well with customers, teammates, and others
A safe, thorough and fast technician that takes pride in work, with no problem asking or seeking help when they do not know something
Able to lift 50+lbs, and comfortable on ladders and lifts. Ability to drive lifts
Must be able to provide professional references, clear a background check, and have a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
