Job Responsibilities :

Plan and Preparedness - Contingency Plan # Disaster Risk Reduction / Disaster Mitigation Plan
Build capacities of NGOs, CBOs, Youths and other key stakeholders on Disaster preparedness / Disaster Mitigation
Carry out disaster risk assessment # Hazard Risk Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) in disaster hotspots
Develop plan for reducing the damage caused by natural hazards such as floods, droughts and cyclones
Identify vulnerable location and mobilise community in very high and high climate vulnerable districts for programme intervention
Conduct trainings for community / stakeholder in Disaster preparedness / Disaster Mitigation
Management with grassroots / community stakeholders for effective implementation of the standard operating procedures-based disaster preparedness / disaster mitigation
Conduct capacity building for selected individuals (volunteers) in the areas of Disaster Risk Reduction
Build the partnerships with various stakeholders for effective implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction

Education Requirement :
Graduation / Post Graduation in Climate Change / Environmental Science / Natural Resource Management / Disaster Management

Experience Requirement :
8-10 Years
