Reliance Industries Limited is seeking a Lead for Disaster Risk Reduction & Response in Navi Mumbai. Responsibilities include planning disaster preparedness, building capacities of stakeholders, conducting risk assessments, and training communities. The role requires a graduate/post-graduate in relevant fields and 8-10 years of experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. Job Responsibilities :
• Plan and Preparedness - Contingency Plan # Disaster Risk Reduction / Disaster Mitigation Plan
• Build capacities of NGOs, CBOs, Youths and other key stakeholders on Disaster preparedness / Disaster Mitigation
• Carry out disaster risk assessment # Hazard Risk Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) in disaster hotspots
• Develop plan for reducing the damage caused by natural hazards such as floods, droughts and cyclones
• Identify vulnerable location and mobilise community in very high and high climate vulnerable districts for programme intervention
• Conduct trainings for community / stakeholder in Disaster preparedness / Disaster Mitigation
• Management with grassroots / community stakeholders for effective implementation of the standard operating procedures-based disaster preparedness / disaster mitigation
• Conduct capacity building for selected individuals (volunteers) in the areas of Disaster Risk Reduction
• Build the partnerships with various stakeholders for effective implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction

Education Requirement :
• Graduation / Post Graduation in Climate Change / Environmental Science / Natural Resource Management / Disaster Management

Experience Requirement :
• 8-10 Years
