Your Role and Impact:

We are excited to invite you to become part of our dynamic Data Centers team. As a Junior Architect specializing in Sustainability, your contributions will play a key role in enabling the core of our clients' businesses. This position includes opportunities to work on the engineering, design, and construction of data centers and mission-critical facilities. You'll take on responsibility for the schedule and technical quality of complex engineering tasks while familiarizing yourself with client expectations, scope, budgets, and schedules.

You will collaborate within a multi-discipline team to successfully deliver design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products. Your work will encompass all aspects of architecture and design, where you will apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis independently. You will be expected to create innovative designs and will have the chance to thrive both independently and within a highly collaborative team.

Your responsibilities will include the use of Revit for facility design and planning project layouts, while coordinating and integrating all relevant disciplines into cohesive designs for client reviews and approvals. You can expect to engage in preparing drawings and specifications for various phases of projects including Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, and Detailed Design. Your designs will undergo review and stamping by a Registered Architect. Please be prepared for periodic travel to local construction and client sites.

Here's What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited programProficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe SuiteBasic knowledge of sustainability challenges related to decarbonization, energy and water savings, and sustainable materialsIdeally, You’ll Also Have:

Master's degree in ArchitectureExperience designing data centers or industrial manufacturing facilitiesUnderstanding of building codes applicable to industrial facilitiesKnowledge in developing project scopes, budgets, and reviewing schedulesExperience with embodied carbon design optimization and conducting life-cycle assessmentsActive Green Building Accreditation, e.g., LEED Accredited ProfessionalFamiliarity with conducting high-performance studies such as daylighting, thermal modeling, and energy analysisCompetitive Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is between $58,656.00 and $95,500.00. Individual pay will be determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and education. You can expect a comprehensive health and welfare benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and opportunities for purchasing company stock at a discount. We also offer an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried employees, along with paid holidays and caregiver leave.

Location: This position is available in a hybrid capacity at various U.S. based locations including: Columbus, Greenville, Indianapolis, Boston, Appleton, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Omaha, New York, Chicago, Portland, Austin, Washington, San Francisco, and Houston.
