Job Description

Kimley-Horn is seeking Environmental Science interns for its Indianapolis office. This role involves solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating on environmental projects. Interns will gain knowledge in regulations related to natural resources, water quality, and ecology. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field. This is an in-office position with some travel required and offers a robust benefits package.
About the position

Kimley-Horn is looking for Environmental Science students to join our Indianapolis, Indiana (IN) office! This is not a remote position. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. The opportunity to gain knowledge in one or more of the following: natural resource regulations, water quality regulatory programs, wetlands identification including knowledge of botany and soil science and experience in ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, geographic information systems, and environmental science.
