Health Safety Environment Advisor

TRS Staffing Solutions is hiring a Health Safety Environment Advisor in Casey, IL, for renewable energy construction projects. We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Advisor to support our renewable energy construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction safety, with a preference for experience in solar and wind energy. This role is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor HSE programs in alignment with OSHA 1926 standards and company policies.
• Provide on-site coaching and support to ensure compliance with safety regulations and client requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to site personnel.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE best practices into planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports using MS Office Suite (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of openness, continuous learning, and performance-driven results.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction HSE roles.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in solar or wind energy projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations and compliance strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, performance-oriented, and receptive to feedback.
