Head of Climate and Sustainability

RSK Group is seeking a Head of Climate and Sustainability for their Water Research Centre in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. This hybrid role requires attending the office at least once a week and involves leading ESG initiatives, business development, and team management. Candidates should have experience in sustainability and climate science, with a salary of £60,000 based on experience. The position is full-time with various benefits.
The Water Research Centre (WRc), an RSK Group company, are looking for a Head of Climate and Sustainability, with expertise in ESG, to work full time as part of the highly successful WRc Management Consulting team.This is ahybrid role with a requirement to attend one of our offices at least 1 day per week (Swindon, Manchester or Stirling) and meet clients as required, both in the UK and internationally.Thisis an excellent opportunity to join a talented and dynamic team in a position that will lead and enable a range of future options for onward growth!Responsibilities include : Lead the continuous improvement of our internal ESG management system in collaboration with colleagues from our SHEQ team.Assist with developing appropriate external communications regarding the company’s ESG strategy and progress.Lead the Climate and Sustainability business development and marketing activities, working with the wider WRc and RSK Business Development and Marketing teams to identify, prioritise and win work.Represent the company in regulatory forums and sustainability advocacy groups to stay ahead of policy shifts and emerging requirements such as evolving ESG regulations, reporting standards, and sustainability frameworksWhere required, lead, manage and support project delivery to ensure on time, on-budget and high-quality services and products.Lead and continue to grow and manage the Climate and Sustainability team, in line with the Management Consulting directorate and WRc growth plans.
