Guerin Glass Architects is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our collaborative, design-focused team. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and technical expertise to manage architectural projects from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years of experience, a professional degree in architecture, and high proficiency in Revit. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to award-winning projects in inspiring environments. The Project Architect will work with Studio Directors and report to the Managing Director and Principals.

Responsibilities
• Project Planning and Management:
• Assist in the development of project proposals including scheduling, resourcing and fees
• Develop comprehensive project work plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals
• Prepare project schedules, establish project milestones and monitor progress to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and quality standards
• Monitor and report on internal project costs and performance and resourcing
• Manage and track project invoicing and expenses including contracted consultants
• Assist in the preparation, negotiation and execution of Owner/Architect and Consultant contracts
• Prepare, issue and track any contract amendments /additional services scope and construction change Orders.
• Budget Management:
• Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and forecasting financial performance
• Identify potential cost savings opportunities and mitigate budget overruns
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Lead project teams, delegating tasks and responsibilities as necessary
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork among all stakeholders
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions
• Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project promptly and effectively
• Client Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing project updates, and managing expectations
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness to feedback
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience with a strong portfolio of built work
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; able to lead a project from concept to completion in Revit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, BlueBeam Revu, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and contract administration
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in project management software
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
• Capable of working in a fast-paced workflow
• Willingness to travel to project sites and attend meetings as needed

Preferred Experience And Skills
• Experience in high-end residential, new construction towers, and/or resort/hospitality projects
• Experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, and Enscape
• Knowledge of sustainable design and green building standards
• Architectural registration and LEED accreditation
• Spanish language proficiency
