WSP is seeking a Green Building Professional - Embodied Carbon Analyst in Los Angeles, CA. Join Our Team of Sustainability Experts

We are seeking an experienced Green Building Professional to join our Built Ecology team. As a Senior Consultant, you will grow and strengthen our team by securing, staffing, managing, and delivering complex projects and client-facing engagements.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, technical knowledge in building life cycle assessments and embodied carbon, and leadership skills to deliver high-quality projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative, integrated, data-driven, and practical solutions for reducing embodied carbon and improving building performance.
• Utilize life cycle assessment (LCA) modeling results to inform design decisions, optimize building performance, and reduce environmental impact.
• Maintain expertise in whole building life cycle assessment methodologies and provide LEED, ILFI, and other certifications strategy and advice related to LCAs and whole-building GHG emissions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate sustainability into building design and operations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, building science, built environment, and/or sustainability.
• ~5-7+ years of experience in sustainability, energy, and climate consulting for buildings, including at least 3 years of applied professional experience in life cycle assessments and embodied carbon analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of GHG accounting practices and life cycle assessment software, such as One Click LCA, EC3, Tally LCA is essential.
