Job Description

Mineral Resources Limited is seeking motivated graduates for their 2026 Graduate Environmental Program in Herdsman, WA, Australia. The role involves supporting environmental management in mining, with exposure to compliance, GIS, and biodiversity initiatives. The tailored two-year program includes rotations and mentorship opportunities. Candidates must have a relevant degree by the end of 2025 and be based in WA or willing to relocate for full-time employment starting February 2026.

The Opportunity

Your role as a Graduate Environmental will see you play a vital part in supporting the environmental management and sustainability efforts within the mining industry.

You will gain exposure and technical expertise within areas such as environmental approvals, compliance with regulatory standards, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis and mapping, and the management of closure and rehabilitation plans. Additionally, you will contribute to biodiversity conservation initiatives, ensuring that mining operations minimise their impact on ecosystems while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The Program

As part of the 2026 Mineral Resources Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to kick- start your professional career with one of Australia’s fastest-growing mining companies.   
• Tailored Two-year program will challenge your thinking across a range of business functions, each offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects. 
• Exposure to different commodities and Services including Iron Ore, Lithium, Energy, Mining Services & Construction.
• Rotations within our state of the art head office and site based experiences on our Mineral Resources operated sites.
• Ongoing support from dedicated Program Mentors and committed leaders, you’ll be well-positioned to grow a successful career in mining. 

Requirements For The Role
• Graduated by the end of 2025 bachelor of Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering, or have graduated from a recognised University within the past 24 months
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold unlimited working rights at the time of application
• Have availability to commence full-time employment at the end of February 2026
• Must be based in WA or willing to relocate
