Charles River Laboratories is hiring a Formulation Technician in Montreal, Quebec. The role involves preparing formulations for dosing, operating laboratory equipment, and adhering to GLP regulations. Job Summary
As a Technician for our Formulation team located at the Senneville site, you will be responsible of preparing different formulations required for dosing, in solution, suspension or powder mix , for our research teams.
In This Role, Primary Responsibilities Include
• Prepare formulations for dosing, in solution, suspension or powder mix using various techniques while adhering to GLP regulations;
• Operate various computer programs and equipment such as PH meter, homogenizer, balance, osmometer, densimeter and glove box;
• Handle samples in a fume hood using aseptic method;
• Prepare study materials according to protocol.
Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
• AEC/DEC in Laboratory Sciences;
• Comfortable following strict procedures;
• Motivated, autonomous, and meticulous person;
• Positive attitude and good team spirit.
Role Specific Information
• Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
• Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
• Salary: 23$/hour;
• Annual bonus based on performance;
• Schedule:
• Monday to Friday & 1 weekend out of 2 in rotation;
• Start time between 6AM and 9AM;
• Holidays;
• Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.
