Job Description

The Fleet Supervisor at Primoris in Maryland oversees vehicle and equipment maintenance, ensuring accurate fleet management systems and compliance with company policies. Fleet Supervisor Manages the maintenance and repair of the organization's vehicles and equipment.
Ensures processes are followed and all Fleet management systems are updated timely and accurately.
Familiar with a variety of the field operations' concepts, practices, and work procedures.Analyzes Fleet utilization and condition, making recommendations on replacement, addition and / or sale of assets as needed.
Follows procedures for acquisition and divestiture of fleet assets including on-road and off-road equipment.


Interacts with Fleet leadership to fill needs identified by Operations.
Train, develop, and supervise mechanics and maintenance personnel.
Develop and maintain adequate maintenance and repair strategies, minimizing downtime to see that operational and project requirements can be met.
Ensures Fleet management systems are updated timely and accurately and that asset assignments are always accurate.
Oversees third party vendor, shop and field repair processes that ensure all Fleet assets are properly maintained at appropriate intervals.
Optimizes expenditures on staff, maintenance, equipment repairs and purchases.
Responsible for compliance to all Company policies and practices as well as any government regulations.
Perform and delegate other assignments given to support the Fleet Department

At least 5 years' experience in fleet and/or equipment service operations.
Ability to follow instruction and communicate effectively.
Proven ability to multi-task and problem solve.
Needs Management experience, with the ability to develop and lead team of field mechanics/technicians.
Sound knowledge of computer software such as Access, Excel, and Word.
Extensive travel required.
Must be able to manage multiple project location at once.
