Role Overview:

As an Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, developing, and managing renewable energy projects across their lifecycle, with a particular focus on the Indian market. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, conducting financial modeling, and staying informed about market trends and regulatory developments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project finance and cash flow models for renewable energy projects like Solar PV, Wind, and BESS to evaluate profitability, equity returns, and risks.
- Maintain project assumptions documentation, return trackers, and tariff models.
- Collaborate with various internal functions to gain comprehensive business insights and evaluate greenfield renewable energy projects.
- Assist in evaluating Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) structures within utility-scale tenders and the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector.
- Monitor and analyze trends in the Indian renewable energy market, including regulatory and policy changes, to assess their impact on project economics.
- Support fundraising activities by coordinating responses to investor due diligence requests and maintaining data rooms.
- Aid in internal and external reporting obligations, including preparing investor presentations and Investment Committee materials.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently when required.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors or masters degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of financial modeling experience, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Thorough understanding of Indian power markets, regulatory policies, and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) structures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
