Field Engineer – 12-Month Contract | Blackburn (On-Site)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our project team at a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) site in Blackburn.

This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge energy technology on a full-time, site-based contract.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS equipment
• Troubleshoot systems and diagnose faults
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of site activities
• Ensure all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards are met
• Provide technical support and project feedback
• Assist with project handover and acceptance

Requirements:
• Significant engineering experience
• Prior experience on BESS projects (essential)
• Valid LV Certificate
• Valid CSCS Card
• Able to work full-time on-site in Blackburn
• Must arrange own accommodation and meals
