Canfor is seeking an Experienced Superintendent for Sustainable Forestry Operations Management in Elko, BC. In this role, you will oversee compliance with health and safety standards and implement cost-saving initiatives in the forestry sector. Your expertise will enable you to effectively manage pulp log delivery and collaborate with Operational Superintendents. You will ensure that all activities align with industry regulations and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Deliver safety leadership and improve operational practices
• Negotiate and manage Pulp Log Purchase Agreements
• Forecast pulp log delivery and associated costs
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement improvements

Requirements:
• Forestry or residual fibre management experience
• University Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
