We are seeking a motivated Event Sustainability Specialist to join our Sustainability Team. This role will play a key part in helping us achieve our zero-waste goals by partnering with the Venue Sustainability Manager and Zero Waste Supervisors.

This is a seasonal, part-time position for show days, with varying hours depending on the show schedule and business needs.

About the Role
<br>• The Event Sustainability Specialist will assist in sorting, recycling, and composting waste materials during and after events.
• They will participate in post-show sorting processes, ensuring all recycling, composting, and landfill materials from the venue are properly handled.
• Additionally, the Specialist will engage employees and encourage them to understand their role in achieving the venue's sustainability goals.
• They will also engage with fans, promoting our sustainability programs through activities and education.

Requirements and Qualifications
<br>• Ability to spend 90% of time walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs, with 65% of that time spent sorting materials.
• Dedication to making a real impact on environmental sustainability.
• Open availability is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in events, particularly zero-waste events, is an asset.
• A positive attitude and creative problem-solving skills are essential.
