About our client

Our client is a fast-growing alliance of regionally strong companies in the field of sustainable refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology. The firm is backed by a leading PE investor and are looking for an ESG Manager to further develop the firm's ESG strategy. What the job involves
• As ESG Manager (m/f/d), with the support of management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a group-wide ESG strategy
• You will establish processes for sustainability metrics reporting and analyse the data
• Prepare ESG reports (with a focus on CSRD and EU taxonomy) and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate ESG measures into business processes
• Identify and assess (financial) risks and opportunities related to sustainability
• Support compliance with statutory and voluntary ESG standards in financial areas Who we are looking for
• Relevant professional experience in sustainability consulting or similar areas
• Ideally, practical experience in meeting reporting requirements, especially regulatory requirements under CSRD and EU taxonomy
• Strong affinity for data and, ideally, experience with ESG data management systems
• Ability to understand complex issues and independently develop and implement solution-oriented concepts
• High level of independence, goal orientation, and strong communication skills, particularly in dealing with top management and relevant stakeholders
