Job Description
Element Materials Technology is hiring an Environmental Technician in Singapore. The role involves assisting in environmental testing, including monitoring air quality, soil, and noise. Candidates should have a relevant qualification and a Class 3/3A driving license. Responsibilities include project planning, report preparation, and equipment maintenance. The position is full-time and requires physical fitness for sampling activities.
Overview:
Element has an opportunity for an Environmental Technician whose prime responsibility is to assist the regional environmental field services department in environmental testing and reporting at project sites.
Responsibilities:
Assist and learn all aspects of work the environmental department carry out including stack emissions monitoring, ambient air quality monitoring, soil and groundwater monitoring and noise monitoring
A willingness to embrace new skills in the above mentioned areas and apply them in a practical context is considered prerequisite
Assist with planning and execution of projects
Assist with report preparation
Assistance with maintenance and calibration of environmental department equipment
Assistance with maintenance of Health and Safety and Quality standards within a UKAS accredited 17025 quality management systems.
Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum ITE qualification (NITEC/Higher NITEC) or Diploma in a relevant science or engineering discipline
Holds a valid Class 3 / 3A Singapore Driving License
Relevant laboratory experience will be an advantage and may be considered in lieu of formal education
Must be physically fit to perform sampling activities
Ability to work independently
