Job Description
The State of Missouri is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator in Jefferson City, MO, to administer ARPA funding for infrastructure improvements benefiting community health and economy. The role involves collaborating with project managers and community leaders on water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. About the Role
As an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator, you will work closely with our Financial Assistance Center to provide funding to communities for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure and lead service line inventories. Your primary responsibility will be to help administer ARPA funding for infrastructure improvements that benefit the communities' health, economy, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
• Administer ARPA funding for infrastructure improvements
• Work with community leaders to identify and prioritize projects
• Collaborate with our Financial Assistance Center to provide funding for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure and lead service line inventories
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and project management skills. You should also be familiar with federal and state regulations related to environmental sustainability and infrastructure development.
