Job Description

Jabil is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator for their Walpole, NH location. This full-time role involves maintaining and repairing facilities equipment, performing general upkeep, managing inventory, and assisting with various tasks. The position requires excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities, with a preference for candidates with technical education and experience in facilities management. The job includes a day shift schedule with every other Friday off.

This role offers a day shift schedule with every other Friday off.
<br>
The job includes working 9 hours a day Monday-Thursday and 8 hours on Friday, with the option to work overtime, available for emergency call-in and on call, weekend work as needed.
<br>
Responsibilities:
<br><br>• Maintaining and repairing facilities equipment, including air & water filter changes and problem-solving and repair of various in-house systems<br>• Performing general facility upkeep, including replacing light elements, painting and repairing drywall, and moving furniture for office relocations<br>• Assisting in fabricating and assembling in-house processes and systems, such as the furnace cooling system and air system<br>• Maintaining facility inventory and spare parts, including storage, repair, and organizing of parts and hardware<br>• Attending or completing all required safety training and promoting safety to all associates and contractors<br>• Diagnosing problems and repairing in a timely manner with little or no direction<br>• Performing facilities projects with little supervision or direction<br>• Identifying creative solutions while conforming to specifications and safety requirements<br>• Assisting staff with various facility or maintenance tasks as requested<br>• Available to work overtime, available for emergency call-in and on call, weekend work as needed<br>• Backup to the custodian as needed<br>• Performs other duties as assigned<br>• <br>• Requirements:
<br><br>• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, standard operating procedures, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations<br>• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees at all levels<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills<br>• Problem solving<br>• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals<br>• Capable to draw and interpret statistical bar and line graphs<br>• Proficient in the use of all general shop tools and power tools<br>• Must be able to function in team environment and as independent contributor<br>• <br>• Education and Experience Requirements:
<br><br>• High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's degree in a technical field, such as Refrigeration or Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or Electrician is desired<br>• 2-4+ years of experience in a facilities related role<br>• Or equivalent education, experience, and/or training<br>• <br>• About Us:
