Job Description
PPL Corp is seeking an Environmental Specialist in Louisville, KY, to develop and implement environmental strategies. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, reducing waste, and collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in the environmental field, strong communication skills, and a commitment to sustainability. This is a full-time position with a salary range of US$50,000–US$65,000 per year.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to ensure our company is compliant with regulatory and industry standards. You will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to reduce waste and ensure sustainability. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the environmental field, a solid understanding of environmental regulations, and a commitment to sustainability. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Monitor and assess compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and industry standards.
Develop and implement plans to reduce waste and improve sustainability.
Collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to ensure environmental objectives are met.
Monitor and oversee environmental projects and initiatives.
Prepare and review environmental reports and documents.
Monitor and analyze environmental trends and performance.
Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and evaluate any potential environmental risks.
Educate and advise staff on environmental issues and policies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws and regulations.
