Idaho State Job Bank is hiring an Environmental Services Specialist in Meridian, ID. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in the store, providing customer service, adhering to cleaning procedures, and assisting with various store operations. Responsibilities include cleaning, organizing, and supporting checkout processes. This is a full-time position with no specific degree required.
• Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Store Environment Team Member at Idaho State Job Bank. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of our store.
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure the store's exterior and interior spaces are clean and well-maintained.
• Provide top-notch customer service by being attentive, responsive, and courteous.
• Adhere to established procedures for collecting and disposing of trash.
• Dust and damp mop floors as required.
• Move equipment and merchandise to facilitate cleaning and restocking.
• Utilize cleaning materials and equipment to maintain assigned areas.
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to established specifications.
• Deep clean high-traffic areas, such as bathrooms and entryways, to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
• Organize cleaning equipment and inform supervisors of supply needs in advance.
• Identify areas that require cleaning and take the initiative to complete these tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors in compliance with federal, state, and county regulations.
Additional Tasks:
• Offer a seamless checkout experience while adhering to cash handling standards.
• Engage customers regarding our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card offerings.
• Support our Omni-channel operations, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) activities.
• Aid in reducing shrink and enhancing safety initiatives.
