Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Scientist and Risk Assessment Specialist in St. Louis, MO, to lead human health risk assessments for diverse clients. Join our commitment to making communities cleaner and safer! We are seeking an Environmental Scientist with a strong quantitative background to lead human health risk assessments as part of our environmental consulting team.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to support complex site characterization and remediation projects for diverse clients, including federal agencies and private sector companies. You will work on every phase of human health risk assessments, from study design and site characterization to detailed data evaluation and interpretation.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience through Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study projects while contributing to the overall site closure process. Key responsibilities will include:

Estimating and modeling receptor exposure scenarios. Utilizing literature-based toxicity data for risk estimation and characterization. Preparing comprehensive reporting based on evaluation findings. Collaborating with cross-disciplinary experts to devise and execute strategic site solutions. Potential travel to project sites for site characterization activities. Your qualifications should include:

Bachelor's or master's degree in biology, toxicology, public health, environmental science, or a closely related field. Expertise in software applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite and statistical packages. Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms. 1-2 years of professional experience in consulting or relevant projects is preferred.
