Terex Environmental Group is seeking an Environmental Risk Assessment Specialist for a full-time position based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta. The role involves leading a team in site and risk assessment programs, requiring expertise in environmental risk assessment, hydrogeology, and regulatory compliance. The Career




The Risk Assessment Specialist position is a full-time position based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.




This is a technical lead level position with access to a multi-disciplinary group of professionals. The position requires the development and mentoring of a team in the execution of site and risk assessment programs.

Qualifications




· Proficient in the application of environmental risk assessment modeling tools

· Current knowledge of environmental regulations (Alberta and Federal)

· Strong technical knowledge in hydrogeology and geochemistry

· Proficiency in data analysis, technical reporting, and client communication

· Proven positive record with provincial regulators regarding approved RMPs

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering or related discipline7+ years relevant work experience in contaminated site assessment, regulatory guideline adjustment, and risk modelingProfessional registration in Alberta Must have legal authorization to work in Canada without restriction
