Job Description

Noblis is seeking an Environmental Restoration R&D Analyst to manage a portfolio of over 300 projects related to environmental science. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, supporting proposal selection, organizing meetings, developing outreach materials, and collaborating with project teams. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience. The position allows for remote/hybrid work, subject to change based on requirements.
Responsibilities

Assist in the management of a portfolio of over 300 active projects, covering treatment, ecotoxicity/ecological risk, sampling & analysis, fate & transport, and occurrence of chemicals of concern.
Monitor and evaluate the financial and technical progress of research and demonstration projects—including tracking project statuses, deliverable deadlines, action items; responding to questions from project teams; identifying and managing lagging projects; collaborating with other team members to monitor progress across the portfolio.
Support the proposal selection process by facilitating virtual and in‑person technical reviews and organizing review meetings; provide logistical and administrative support during the meetings.
Plan, prepare for, and participate in a wide range of in‑person and virtual meetings, workshops, and conferences—develop agendas, presentations, and other associated materials; represent the client and staff conference booths; attend technical sessions; gather relevant information to inform the program’s research and topic development.
Develop technology transfer and outreach materials such as writing blogs, social media content, and presentations.
Participate in the development process of research and demonstration solicitation topics—including performing online literature research, analysis of past projects, and conducting stakeholder interviews.
Collaborate directly with Principal Investigators to increase consistency in project performance and financial reporting.
Develop and execute other program‑related initiatives as needed.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment by supporting other areas of the Noblis team as needed.
Build a strong relationship with the ER Program Manager and serve as a liaison between project teams and the SERDP and ESTCP Office.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a similar science degree.
0‑3 years of professional experience in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, water resources management, or a related field.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications

Candidates located in the DMV area will be given preference.
Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a similar science degree.
1 year of professional experience in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, water resources management, or a related field.
Experience with Department of Defense or military organizations.
Interest in project management.

Location & Working Arrangements
Remote/hybrid status is subject to change based on Noblis and/or government requirements.

Compensation
Compensation is determined by education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, location, and contract‑specific factors. The projected compensation range for this position is USD 71,800.00–112,150.00 per year. For part‑time or on‑call staff, compensation is proportionally adjusted based on hours worked.

USD $71,800.00 - USD $112,150.00 /Yr.
