As an Environmental Organizer, you will play a crucial role in creating a sustainable future for all. Your work will focus on protecting wildlife, addressing the plastic waste crisis, tackling electronic waste, and more. We believe college campuses are the ideal starting point for meaningful change, and we are looking for dedicated organizers to engage students in making a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate with student activists to develop and execute strategic campaigns on pressing environmental issues. Key responsibilities include:

Inspiring Action: Mobilize and inspire students to take meaningful action on environmental issues.Campaign Management: Guide students in running campaigns targeting single-use plastics, wildlife protection, and affordable education.Coalition Building: Work with volunteers and interns to create a diverse coalition of organizations committed to environmental change.Leadership Training: Equip students with the skills needed for effective social change, such as grassroots organizing and advocacy.Sustainable Organization: Help establish a strong, student-managed organization on campus through fundraising and relationship-building.Summer Outreach: Manage a citizen outreach office in summer, leading a team of canvassers to support important causes. Flexibility in location may be required.Movement Building: Recruit volunteers, interns, and fellow organizers to strengthen our efforts.Independent Decision-Making: Exercise sound judgment in addressing significant matters.Qualifications

The target annual salary range for this position is $38,250 - $44,450, depending on location, education, and experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick time (60-72 hours/year), vacation time (10 days in year 1), and commuter benefits. Long-term employees will receive additional vacation time, a 401(k) plan with employer match, parental leave, and long-term disability insurance. We also offer comprehensive training and advancement opportunities.

We are hiring organizers to work on various college campuses across multiple states.
