Environmental Health Safety Specialist

AboitizPower is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist for the NAGA BESS Project in Cebu City, Philippines. The role involves implementing safety and environmental regulations, preventing incidents, and managing EHS activities throughout the project delivery. Candidates must be an Accredited Safety Officer 3 with at least 5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety. This position is not remote and is categorized as an internship.
Position Summary:
This vacancy is for the NAGA BESS Project in Naga, Cebu.


The position holder will be assisting in the effective and efficient implementation of company rules and regulations including national, local and community laws pertaining to safety, environment and health. He/she will be leading in preventing safety environmental related incidents and near misses. The position holder will be responsible of all Environment, Health and Safety related matters of Project Delivery, in addition to capacity building on Occupational, Health, Safety and Security and Environment, Health and Safety Management System and of Project Management Procedure, responsible for all EHS control activities designed to prevent incidents or improve performance of the project.


At the Project Delivery Stage, he/she shall be responsible in ensuring all works are implemented according to the approved management plans, ECC/CNC and LGU requirements.


Minimum Qualifications:
Must be an Accredited Safety Officer 3. Must have 5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety. Graduate of any bachelors degree.
