About the Role

We're seeking a proactive EHS Coordinator based in the Indianapolis, IN area to support and strengthen environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This role partners with plant leadership to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and reduce workplace risk.







Responsibilities

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS policies, programs, and compliance initiatives.Lead employee safety engagement through safety committees, JSAs, hazard recognition, and training.Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.Track and report EHS metrics, ESG data, and injury statistics to plant leadership.Maintain OSHA logs, incident records, and required regulatory documentation.Support ISO 14001 initiatives and environmental compliance programs.Coordinate industrial hygiene activities and employee injury follow-up.Partner with operations to identify and implement machine guarding, ergonomic, and other safety improvements.Collaborate with corporate EHS and site leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Promote a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement and safety awareness.





Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or EHS certification preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.





Required Skills

2-4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Working knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, and safety compliance programs.Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.Ability to lead multiple initiatives and influence employees at all levels of the organization.Experience with incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety metrics.Proficient with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation DOE: Up to $80k
